Yes, it will work perfectly with the Sonos soundbar Wall Mount. I have this paired with my wall mounted Sonos soundbar.

By itself no, the Sonos mount is designed to be flush and the part that protrudes from the kit will not allow it to be flush. What I did was installed some like .25 inch washers between the mount and the wall like the kind that'll come with a TV wall mount kit. This also allows you to hide extra cables in the space between the wall and the sonus wall mount

However, the WMC801 does have a bezel that protrudes from the wall so it is not flat. If the Sonos Playbar requires a perfectly flat surface, then the WMC801 will most likely not work.
