Yes it can cover an HDMI cable. If there are several cables, you should use the;large' capacity kit. I purchased both kits (just in case) but I ended up using the small kit and returned the large kit. At the store, the credit card was credited in an instant; excellent customer support.

The concealer tubes/covers are approx 1/4" x 1" and can hold up to 4 cables/wires. ** If you wash the wall real well using rubbing alcohol or something non-greasy, let it dry well. The adhesive will stay stuck.
