A:AnswerIt's a 24 inch mount so you can get about an added 8 inch (most likely less) just from the mount. I got around this completely by adding a longer (attractive) support board across the wall behind the TV. My TV was 83 in diagonal so it covers most everything behind. It also added the advantage of moving the TV slightly forward allow easier access to the back connections to the TV. Can't tell the difference.
A:AnswerYes, it holds my 86in Samsung TV and u have about a 3 in clearance from the wall but there are two quick releases that you can pull if you need to get back behind the TV.
A:AnswerI used this for a 75" Samsung TV. It's a universal mount and the Samsung has a standard mounting pad. I have 3 of these brackets and I like them a lot. Very straightforward and easy to install.
The back of my Samsung is slightly curved so you will need to use the small plastic spacer that comes with the package.

A:AnswerThis bracket is recommended to be installed into, wood studs, steel studs, or concrete. Drywall alone install is not recommended.

A:AnswerLooks like about an inch and a half. Mine is almost the size of a credit card (see picture) but I used spacers. There are more spacers included in the box so you might be able to add a little space.
