• THE BASE IS VERY STURDY AND HEAVY. I DOUBT YOU'LL HAVE ANY TROUBLE WITH YOUR UNIT IF YOU PLACE THE STAND ON AN EQUALLY STURDY PLATFORM (TABLE). GOOD LUCK!

• Yes but your pushing the limit, base comes with an anchor cable you can set on the the unit and attach it to the wall to keep it stable and from falling over.
