“I wanted to purchase this for my new 55 inch tv. I purchased tilt straps to go on the back of the tv but then i saw this and wondering if i get this stand would that prevent the tv from tilting with a toddler in the house.”

Excellent mount very heavy holds my 50 inch TV in place and no worries of it falling over
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a 65" tv mounted on this stand . I do not have a toddler in my house so I can't really answer your question. I do know that my TV does move when I move the cabinet it is mounted on, it swivels a bit. I have not noticed any tipping forward when moving the cabinet. I hope this helps you.
