• The metal base is ample and can be drilled to your specifications. It shouldn’t be a problem.

• Hi Annie, This stand does not come with bolts to mount to the counter. Hard to say if it would be ok with out bolting it. While driving I would say probably not. We do make antitip straps that might be very helpful for your specific situation here. Check them out they are the Sanus - Antitip Strap model: BATS702-B1. Thanks, - Haydn @ SANUS
