• It could be one of two dimensions, since you can mount the spacer (i) behind or (ii) in front of the bracket when attaching to the TV. I have mine in front, i.e. as in (ii) above and the wall to back of TV is 2.5". Since the spacer is approx. 0.5 to 0.75" long, then just add that to the 2.5" to get an approximation for (i) above.

• So it depends on how you set your tv to be viewed. Mine is set at an angle for viewing purposes; that has established a 2" distance at the bottom, 4" at the top and 3" in the middle.

• several inches. there are options for mounting (and spacers) for TVs that don't have a flat back.
