Q: QuestionWill this Sanus TV wall mount fit around a standard outlet? Is the middle gap over 5 inches tall?

• A:Answer Hey there! The opening within the center of the wall plate is 3.9" high, so the outlet wouldn't fit in the center of the wall plate. However, you could easily place an outlet either just above or below the wall plate depending on where your jack pack is on the back of the TV and the TV will cover up the outlet when it is hung on the wall. • A:Answer Yes, the part screwed into wall does not have a single little hole, but rather a long oval hole with several inches of play to accommodate that issue specially!!!! Buy this unit, I am a consumer & can tell you that you will not regret it. Best on market, not even close!!!!

• A:Answer I think it depends on the sturdiness of the existing masonry in your home. The instruction in the box do have specific instructions for mounting to brick so I would assume that it is usually safe.

Q: QuestionUpgrading Wall Mount?I currently have my tv on this wall mount and want to upgrade to the full motion mount. My question is, can I leave the screws from the current bracket in place, slide the bracket off and replace it with the new one? Or would I have to screw new holes into the studs of the wall?

• A:Answer Sanus has a section I used on their website that lets you put in your TV model number and receive recommendations for a mount. In my case my 60" Samsung led's sanus recommended mounts that were listed for smaller tv's because the led TV is relatively light.

• A:Answer It worked with my 65" samsung curved. I'd assume both TV's have the same VESA pattern! I think it's 400x400. You would be good with this mount. Just use provided spacers when bracketing to TV
