“Want to buy this for my parents. Can you use the arm portion and NOT use the leg biking portion (asking for my Mom who has episodes of bad knee pain due to arthritis)? If not with this model, with any of the models?”

Hi Tara, The Schwinn AD2 Airdyne Bike has foot rest pegs that allow a user to target upper body exercises. All of the Schwinn Airdyne models include this feature. – The Nautilus Team

Yes, there are foot rests higher up on the bike for just that purpose.
