Not sure if you can do that. Check to see if the receptacles in your monitor says Audio or Aux In. Then you can try to connect the 3.5 mm jack to your computer's headphone port. Please make sure you set the volume at a minimum to prevent damage. I can use this to connect my Mac's headphone port (with the 3.5 mm jack) to my powered speakers (with the L/R RCA jack) or the RCA jacks (to my A/V receiver's Aux input) with the 3.5 mm (to a mobile device). Or to my Audio Mixer's Tape In (with the RCA cables) hooked up to a mobile device with the 3.5 mm jack. I hope this helps. Good Luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will work if your monitor uses the size headphone jack. Make sure of the size of the jack. Standard is 1/4 inch. I had to buy this for a newer MacBook Air.again make sure the jack is the correct size before you order.
