If your car's 12V auxiliary power outlet or cigarette lighter stay on when you turn your car off, it will then continue to keep the Scosche Bluetooth FM transmitter on. Two model transmitters we carry that have an on/off switch are models SBTFM1-XCES0 and SBTFM2-XCES0. In some vehicles, this outlet stays powered even after the engine is turned off. In this case, the BTFREQ will stay on, so we recommend unplugging it when you’re not using the car.
