• Check the manufacture's support website to see. http://www.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c02214672.pdf Next what version of Windows are you running (32 or 64 bit) it makes a difference how you have to install the hard drive.

• Fit? This is an external storage device. It works with MicroSoft and Apple products via USB 2 or 3 connection if it is properly configured. However you will lose storage capacity if you configure it for both.
