• Yes, it will work fine. I would recommend making sure the drive is in NTFS format. Windows 7, 8, and 10 love NTFS. p.s. If you need to use the drive across platforms such as Windows, Linux, and OS X then consider setting the drive in exfat, but (I recommend to) make sure you do this from the Mac. I noticed when I format a drive in exfat from Windows, then tried to use it on a Mac it didn't work, but when I format the drive to exfat from on my Mac (OS X) and then tried to use it also on Windows, it would now work on both platforms.
