“Will the backup software run on a windows xp pro computer?”

• I am sorry but I am not sure of the answer. I use the drive in question as backup for Windows 10 operating system. Seagate may be a better source.

• It comes formatted for Windows, and the software preloaded is for Windows. Which version of Windows software, I have no idea because I'm an Apple user who has to reformat for Mac OS X.
