• Unknown - But for what it's worth, my Surface three tablet has a flash USB dirve (which is one of the reasons that I recently purchased it over an iPad) and it works just fine in it. Both devices are super compact also.

• The portable hard drive doesn't have an external power source and needs to run off power provided by the USB port. I'm sorry but don't think this portable hard drive would be helpful for you.
