I use mine to backup 3 computers. I copy and paste the files i want tho
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't see any reason that it can't be used on multiple computers. It is probably easier if you have a USB on your wireless router. Otherwise, you can eject it, create separate folders for each member and even store drive images. Seagate software is not required to do image or file backups. Seagate software isn't bad at all. However, when you try to eject, it will tell you that the drive is being used. I haven't had the time to learn it, but I think it may be because of the incremental vs full backups and/or the fact that Seagate Dashboard is in the Startup which can be easily removed.
