Will it work on a iMac? null

Most hard drives will work with any computer. You have to format the drive for the software used. Look at the information that came with your computer to see what type and size hard drive is installed. Here is a link to show you how to remove and install a Hard drive on an IMAC. If you do not have a Solid State Drive (SSD) this hard drive will work in your IMAC. https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/iMac+Intel+27-Inch+EMC+2309+and+2374+Hard+Drive+Replacement/1634 You can connect the drive by USB cable with an hard drive enclosure. This is how I used the drive I bought. You can also buy an external hard drive that is already formatted for MAC.
