- Answer It is just a drive. It holds data. That it is. It is as capable of automatic backup as any drive, in that you have to install software yourself on your computer to back things up.

- Answer You should be able to plug this into a phone with the appropriate cable. If you phone can work with a USB flash drive, then it should work with this just as well. Note that this comes with a cable that has a USB-A on one end, which will not work with your phone, so you will need to buy a USB-C to micro-USB 3 cable. But I am not sure why you would want to plug a phone into this gigantic hard drive. It needs wall power to run, so it is not portable.

- Answer You can use it to play games for Xbox One and older directly from this drive, however Series X/S games will need to be transferred from this drive to the internal drive in ordered to be played.

- Answer ~260MB/s write, ~280MB/s read. Bursts up to 600MB/s. These are sequential numbers. Random read/write is going to be less than 10MB/s. The drives used are most commonly Seagate Exos X16 (model number ending in 001G) or Seagate Exos x18 (model number ending in 000J). Less common is an ironwolf pro drive. All of these are helium filled. The exos are enterprise drives.

- Answer Yes, but your TV must have a USB port. check with the TV documents to confirm what drive formats are supported (i.e., NTFS, FAT, ExFat, etc). If the format must be changed do so before copying files to the drive. Typically if the TV is on it will auto-detect the powered drive when it is plugged into the USB port. Otherwise, you will need to go into the source menu and select the USB port. The TV will either auto-load or display a menu of MP4 files which you can select and play.

- Answer A bit large roughly 7"deep x 4" high x 2" wide. It is heavy (it is a HDD not SSD).
