• Contrary to the response, you can not control the light in the app. You can control the glowing rim of the handlebars, but the headlight and taillight come on automatically with a sensor, and you can't control them.

• Yes, the backlight can be controlled using the app!. Most functions can be setup using the Segway-Ninebot application and you can download it using Android or IOS.
