All our batteries are expected to complete 180 full charge cycles from empty. The D40 battery assembly has a one-year warranty. The best way to protect the battery is to charge the unit to 99% and then disconnect the charger from the Kickscooter. If the unit is not going to be used for a period of time, charge the unit to full, then store in a cool dry place and pull out every 3-4 weeks to charge up again. This will keep your battery happy and ready for new rides.
