• You can throttle the unit down by using the app. Connect to the unit via app, by search vehicle function, once on may screen, you can go to settings (top left options icon) and select speed settings to bring it down. Alternatively, you can double-click the on/off button to get the display to show ECO, which is the lowest setting.

• Not that i am aware of. It is very sturdy and my 10 year old grand daughter rides it when she is over for a visit. It does not have a starting gear, so you have to kick off at 3 mph or more to take off.
