“Can I connect the hub to my wifi even though it only runs at 5 gigahertz. I am having problems connecting other lights that don’t need a hub because of this. My wifi company xfinity doesn’t offer 2.4 gigahertz wifi.”

• You have to manually split the WiFi signal from your Xfinity router in to its 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz component signals so your lightbulbs can work on the 2.4 one.

• My 5G home internet was the same and YES IT WORKS! And as a plus it's the cheapest option that's works like it's supposed to.
