• Yes. They only operate on 2.4 GHz wifi. However, all 5GHz Wi-Fi routers also simultaneously run 2.4 GHz. Refer to your router's manual for more information on your specific router

• Bluetooth, not wifi. The bulbs don't have to go on your network.

• No you can download an app and control through the app. It will work with any Wi-Fi
