• Yes, on this model, you can use the aux connection if the battery is drained.

• Yes you can. But the cable that comes with it is rather short and the mini jack thats suppossed to plug into the headphone is smaller than a "regular" mini jack plug so something to keep in mind if thinking about getting a longer cable
