It can be, the cord is a generic rubber insolation style. So the cable can get tangled easily. Personally I just let loose the amount of cable I needed, bound the rest with the twist tie. Then made an effort to straighten the cable I let loose so it doesn't get bundled, twisted, or tangled as easily.

A 10 foot cable is a blessing-- if you ever need the extra cable, you always have it. The materials uses in this cable make it quite easy to manage and coil up without creating much cable memory if spooled up over time.
