Q: QuestionAre these MOMENTUM Sennheiser headphones heavy? Are they comfortable? The apple over ear are very heavy.

• A:Answer Not particularly. My biggest complaint would have to be they can get hot after a few hours. Otherwise theyre quite pleasant to wear. If you want lighter high quality headphones I'd actually recommend the Sony XM4s. The Momentum 3 has the best sound imo but you know...sound is subjective.

• A:Answer It's just "genuine" leather. In the US, "genuine" leather is what most people think of when they hear "faux leather". It's just mushed up leather that's been reconstituted into a cheap, thin material.

Q: Questionif it is wireless momentum 3, why is it cheaper than momentum 4 which came out later? momentum 4 is reviewed as upgraded version from i have read online. to be honest, momentum 3 is a better product?

• A:Answer Every manufacturer continually improves/adds new features to its products. I had the same concern when shopping. To me, the Momentum3 is just as good as the Momentum4, but the price is lower. I have been totally satisfied with my purchase. Don't stress over it.

• A:Answer Yes, it can be used with or without the wire. This is my first wireless headphones and I was concerned about the sound quality via wireless. I can notice no discernible difference using them wireless. Besides, it is far more convenient and less trouble.

• A:Answer Yes there’s a switch that allows you to go between full noise cancelling, partial, or off. I believe they call it the transparent hearing option. They also automatically pause your audio if you take them off.

• A:Answer I have found these to be excellent for listening to music, and immersive/theatrical experiences. Especially, these create a great soundstage. They are comfortable enough to wear for extended periods of time. With that being said, the Bose QC 35 are my go-to for situations that I want noise canceling and a longer use. They have better noise canceling than the Sennheiser, although the Sennheiser is certainly passable for any situation. The QC 35s are also lighter and more comfortable. The qc35s don't produce the same level of sound quality or fullness as the Sennheiser, but do produce a very good sound nonetheless. Both headsets are well worth the price that you pay for them. To put in another way, the Bose are my go-to for everyday use. The sennheiser's are my go-to for premium sound quality when I really want to 'experience' something.

• A:Answer The “sandy white” version doesn’t release until November 2019. The momentum wireless 2 (previous version) was carried in the Magnolia section, not Best Buy proper. Their stocked products very widely. Most likely you will have to order them. However Best Buy offers free shipping.
