No you do not have to click any button Before or after connecting your headphones to your laptop just open them up

They know the products and aren't reading from a manual without knowledge of the product. I can connect my momentum 3 to my imac with no problem. More likely a simple computer setting. Try rebooting your headphones by holding the multi function button down for 20 seconds, that completely resets the headphones which is different from the app reset function. Easiest is just call the senn. guys.
