simple, search google for a optical audio splitter, or optical audio switch
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t believe you can use the optical cable if you want the option to still use the Bose. I had to connect the headset using the black and red cables directly to the tv.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have a few ptions. Run a 3.5 mm audio cable from your headphone jack on your tv to the headphone base or move your optical cable to your headphone base when you want to use the headphones. If you have an audio output in your Bose system, you can also run a 3.5 mm audio cable to your base instead of running it directly from your tv.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same set up but when I hooked up my Seinheiser I used the optical for the headphones and switched the Bose Cinemate to the RCA input. My previous headphones were hooked up to the RCA so I just switched them. There was nothing out there, that I could find, that would allow me to do both through Optical. Hope this helps.
