• Hopefully your digital aux cable is connected to whatever audio component you’re using ...Example , I have my digital aux cable running from my TV to the stand for the headphones thus I’m getting the sound that the Netflix app on my tv ...i hope that helps

• It might be the way you have the audio cable hooked up. I have the Roku on HDMI2 with cable on HDMI1 and do not have this problem. The headphones play whatever sound is associated with whichever HDMI channel is selected.
