“why wont the opictal audio work when plugged in to my fios box”

• I have a Samsung TV & ATT Uverse, and my mother-in-law as a Samsung TV & Spectrum (Time Warner). I have the Optical audio cable plugged directly into the TV's and it works great. This is how it was written in the instructions.

• Sound stupid but make sure the switch on the back of the transmitter is set to optical input and not the 3.5mm input
