A:Answer You do not say whether this is a new installation and you can't get it to work or whether the system was working and suddenly stopped. Some things to look at: Batteries: You say the batteries are charged and then say it is not charging. (New installation: The batteries need 16-24 hours to fully charge before you begin using the headphones.) The battery indicator light at the top of the base will be green if the headphones are charged, blinking red if it is charging. The batteries are in the headphone and recharge through the base if properly positioned on the charger atop the base. They are rechargeable batteries. Do not replace them with ordinary batteries or you may damage the system. Connection: The base has two cables, one plugged into an electrical source and the other into the TV. If the base is showing a green light, indicating the headphones are charged and you have no sound, then there are two possibilities: Check your connection from the base to the TV. The base uses an optic cable to the optic cable input on the TV. Optic cables can be gently bent but will break inside if you try to bend it too forcefully as in a sharp "V" for example. If the connection is correct, be sure you turned off the soundbar, if you have one, before attempting to use the headphones. Lastly, check that you turned on the volume in the headphones using the buttons on the side of the headphone.
