“Mine just shuts off after about 10-15 min, still plenty of battery. Put in another fully charged battery and it turns on and then blinks fro floor to carpet and back. Just stops while this blinking happens. Then powers off after 5-6 seconds. Head is clean”

Ok had the same issue as everyone else— so I dug a little deeper why is the motor overheating— because it’s straining. Some where within the system there is a blockage— mine was in the handle, between the dustbin and the suction portion on the vacuum. I made sure it was completely cleaned out, went ahead and used vacuum for 20 mins with zero issues. I also noticed that the tone of the vacuum becomes HIGHER pitched when it’s clogged- so listen for changes in the vacuum.

Please try again later.I have had the same problem with my shark vacuum they have even replaced and the new unit does exactly the same I’m afraid I wouldn’t recommend the cordless vacuum I have a corded and it’s great no issues there’s clearly an issue with the corded units after 10 mins use it just cuts out
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I checked the hose and no obstruction. It turned out to be the filter on top of the unit. Had it for almost 2 years. Never knew there was a filter that should be cleaned every month. There is a button on top that opens the unit so you can remove and clean the filter. Runs great. There is also a filter on the bottom where the exhaust air is filtered. 4 filters each on Amazon for just under $14.00.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.So just as Rick mentioned, this is due to a blockage somewhere. I was about to call Shark but read his answer and checked the machine. Right enough there was a blockage where the flex pipe plugs into the base. Cleaned it out and it works fine. I recommend this product.
