QuestionCan I leave the Lithium Shark Battery in the charger when its done charging? I have no place to store that extra battery so it would be handy to just leave it in the charger until I need it.

- Answer Page 7 of the Owner's Manuel states: "As the ION Power Pack Battery charges, the lights will first blink and then illuminate steadily, in sequential order. All 3 lights will glow steadily upon receiving a full charge, and then turn off after a short period. This preserves long-term battery life and allows the battery to remain connected to the charger even after reaching full charge."

- Answer I didn't pay that much attention, but I'm gonna say about an hour to charge 1 battery. I would be totally frustrated if there weren't 2 batteries in this one!! I will say this, it takes considerably longer to charge a battery than it does to drain one. I've just adjusted to breaking up the cleaning to allow for charging time. Otherwise, I'm loving the SHARK! 1 battery will vacuum for about 15-20 minutes.

QuestionI just got this vacuum and as soon as I use it on the carpet, the rollers stop spinning and the red light turns on. Nothing is clogged or anything as I just took it out of the box. Doesn’t work on carpet at all. Any advice before I return this??

- Answer I’m not exactly sure how to explain how much power it has, but I can tell you that I am VERY impressed and surprised by how much power it does have on the max power setting. With that being said, I have only used it in the max power setting once since I have had it just to see what power it does have, because it has enough power in the normal setting for my needs. I will say that in the max power setting it drains the battery rather quickly!

- Answer I am using it on a daily basis to clean hardwood floors without any scratches or damage. Bamboo is a very hard wood, so I doubt that you will have any issues.

- Answer Ok had the same issue as everyone else— so I dug a little deeper why is the motor overheating— because it’s straining. Some where within the system there is a blockage— mine was in the handle, between the dustbin and the suction portion on the vacuum. I made sure it was completely cleaned out, went ahead and used vacuum for 20 mins with zero issues. I also noticed that the tone of the vacuum becomes HIGHER pitched when it’s clogged- so listen for changes in the vacuum.

QuestionDoes the grasshopper have the washable filter like the blue stream?

- Answer Hello Whit, We are happy to confirm that both of these vacuums use the same filter system. To wash the filters, rinse the filters with water until the water runs clear. Do not use soap. Let them air dry completely (at least 24 hours) before reinstalling. We hope this information helps. The Customer Support Team

- Answer You can use this in your car, yes. The vacuum is cordless and the motor detaches from the stick to become a handheld vacuum making it easy to use for a vehicle. As well, there are attachments included to help get into the small/tight spaces in a car. It comes with 2 batteries, but only one charger. Each battery has about a 30 min charge though. VERY GOOD!

- Answer The Shark ION FLEX HV392 is essentially the same thing. It mirrors the pet model and comes with the same high-end accessories. The color is different. Rather than the nice blue it is either yellow or gold. I can't be sure about the color because I can't be sure about my monitor.Price: $299.99. Big difference.
