You do not have to use home mapping, but mapping helps your Shark Matrix clean efficiently and avoid certain areas. For mopping, you should use only water or a mixture of water and Shark VACMOP surface cleaner. Other cleaning solutions may negatively impact your robot's performance in mopping mode.
