• A:Answer Ya that's what wanted too. So this unit self empties in vacuum mode. To mop I have to remove the debris catcher from the vacuum and attach a separate mop unit. Then it mops and collects the dirty water. When it's done I remove the mop attachment and empty it manually and reinstall the vacuum piece. But think about a mess you will have in the base unit if it automatically sucks up the dirty water and puts it in on the vacuumed up debris in the bin. Good luck!

Q: QuestionDo you actually need 2 feet of space on each side of the base for placement location? We have our current Roomba in our walk-in pantry without issue but there's only about 1ft of space on each side of base. I'd prefer to put this in place of our Roomba.

Q: QuestionDo any Shark robots do entire house and do any switch between floor types automatically? If you program while house with no-go-zones, will you have to reprogram after each cleaning and recharging? Is there a total sq ft that one charge will do?

• A:Answer Mine covers about 1200 square feet before going back to its base and charging, it resumes where it left off. The shark has zero issues going between different floor types. No go zones are meant to be set up for where cords and things are so it doesnt go there but removing or adding a no go zone takes about 30 seconds in the app. In the mappy process you csn also make an area on the map a different room and can sentld it to clean just that room.

• A:Answer Hi Candi! The robot cannot detect obstacles or other small items that are below 4.5 inches. We recommend to either clear the obstacles or to create a no-go-zone from within the app. When you create no-go-zones the robot will only go in the areas that you decide.

Q: QuestionMy HVAC system is mostly floor vents. For my hard floor rooms, is there a way to let it go over the vents while vacuuming, but avoid them while in mopping mode? How well does it handle going over floor vents (wheel not lever, so low profile)?

• A:Answer It seems to struggle a little over floor vents on hard flooring, but it has managed to work over them and not get stuck. I would think if you don't want it to mop over the vents you would have to mark them as carpeted areas which may be hard to pin exactly on the app maps since it's a small area. I mopped over the vents when I had it mop mode.
