“I have a Shark Navigator Professional and when I try to clean thick carpet, it is extremely hard to push no matter how much I lessen the vacuum, normal operation is great but thick carpet ( or padding) is a definite problem!”

Make sure you are set to carpet, not bare floor. We have a plush carpet with a thick pet pad underneath, and this vacuum handles like a dream.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sometimes when this happens to me and I back off all the suction, I shut the roller brush off and it's easier to push. Usually works ok, unless the carpet is extra dirty and you need the roller brush.
