Does it work well on shag carpets? null

I’m not sure why someone answered yes. I had mine out of the box for 15 minutes and had to return it because it won’t work on my shag rugs or my medium pile carpets. It immediately gives a red light and the brush stops spinning every time. Read other 1 and 2 star reviews and many people say the same thing!

I’m not sure why Lisa B answered yes. I had the vacuum out of the box for 15 minutes and it immediately shut off every time I tried to vacuum my medium pile carpets or shag rugs. If you read other 1 and 2 star reviews, many people say the same thing and also return the vacuum.

It does not, I had mine out of the box for 15 minutes and it immediately shut off when I got to our shag rug. I tried turning it back on several times, but it shut off within 1-2 seconds of being on the rug every time. Had to return it and go with a different brand. Upon reading reviews, I learned that many people have this problem on medium to high pile carpets with even the most expensive Shark vacuum.
