Hi Beth, That is in fact a good question, there are multiple Shark Navigators unit but the 2 you were inquiring about are actually from the same serie, model# (NV356). The rest of the number behind are just internal data that Shark uses to recognize where it was made and where it is sold. There can also be a little difference in what comes in the kit so it may affect the pricing a bit. The NV356K per example is 189.99$ and the NV356E is 199.99$. Hope this information was helpful.
