Is the oder cartridge only used to keep oder out of room and does the purifier work as well if you do not use it? I notice it has an oder that makes me sorta nauseous. I assume the smell doesn't go away or get better after using it for awhile? null

You do not need to use the scent pod. I ran mine without it and it seemed to work fine.

We would like to let you know that you can use the air purifier with out the odor cartridge.

The smell does not go away. It will work just as well without it. I only smell it when I am In the same room. It is so slight, it does not bother me. Try using it without the odor cartridge.
