• I cleaned the cleanable filter within 10 days of purchase and the scent pod does not last a week while running the machine on high setting

• 5 years from now the cost of a new HEPA filter will not resemble today's expense. I'll worry about that when the time comes. The cleanable filters will need cleaning at intervals that will vary among different environments, of course. I think every two months or so is common. I just vacuumed ours at one month, but the accumulated debris was minimal. We have two dogs but vacuum floors regularly anyhow. I elected to not bother with the scent pod.

• I am going to buy replacement filters for the three newly purchased Shark air purifiers (two small room 500 sq. ft and a large space 1400 sq. ft.) so that when I need to replace them I’ll have them on hand (ready to go).
