The roller and debris tray are real easy to remove and rinse off. There are replacement rollers on different sites. I cleaned mine after each room just so it was fresh starting in the next room.It only uses water. It suggest's using distilled water.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. For best performance and longevity we recommend cleaning your brushroll manually after any intense cleaning event such as a large spill or after cleaning a large, heavily trafficked area. Rinse off any leftover debris with tap water. It is not recommended using bleach or fabric softeners as they may damage the brushroll or leave a coating that will reduce their cleaning performance and absorbency. Towel or air dry. Loose fibers can indicate wearing of the microfiber fabric. Do not pull the loose fibers. Trim them with scissors. We recommend replacing brushrolls every 6 months.
