How strong is the suction on this device? null

I found it to be very strong. This is after owning the other popular brand. I am one to soak the carpet when cleaning them and found I was able to get the great majority of the water back out and the carpet felt dry to the touch, however, I know that they were damp near the pads but not so much that it made my soaks wet at all.

Suction would randomly stop working. When it did work, it was strong but not necessarily worth the hassle.

The technical information available is 120V, 60Hz and 3.3A.
