“Will this work on a carpet nap that is 1.5” tall. My back-up vacuums, a Shark Navigator lift-away, will not work on this carpet. The beater brush won’t operate. Is this unit more powerful than my current Navigator? Will it work on this thick carpet?”

Yes, it will work. I use it on my shag rug. Instead of having a regular brush roller, it has “fins” on the roller so it doesn’t get tangled in thicker carpet.

It is extremely powerful, it is getting so much more dirt and dog hairs out of my carpet than my old vacuum. There are 3 settings, hard floor,low carpet and high carpet, so I would think it would work fine for you. I'm really happy I bought it.
