Is this vac. self-propelled? null

We would like to let you know that this unit is not self-propelled.

It is very heavy and hard to turn. I’m 65 years old and weigh 121 pounds. I can’t stand this machine. However, it does have great suction. Due to how hard it is to maneuver around I have to use the carpet setting on my laminate flooring because it does not roll easily. I only use it about once a month.

Somewhat, if on the right surface and right setting. For example, if you are on carpet and use the carpet setting, it will move forward on it's own. Even more so when you detach the motor from the wand. I notice it doesn't self propel on hard surfaces - probably because it has nothing to catch on to pull it forward.
