Do the one touch settings only use preset times or do they actually use a sensor to properly cook the food?”

• Manual does not mention anything about Sensor Cook. All One Touch Options are all pre-set times for different kinds of food. e.g. If I place a cup of water and press BEVERAGE pad one, it will display cook time of 1 min 10 sec. If I choose POPCORN, it will displace cook time of 1 min 45 sec.

• You can set the times on it to cook. There's presets on it but you can choose your own time as well.

• Nope - no sensor cooking on this cheap model. There are a few presets on the face panel, but no temperature sensor that plugs into the food and the oven.

• Thank you for your recent inquiry regarding the Sharp R309YK Microwave Oven. This model Sharp Microwave Oven does not feature sensor cooking. The “One Touch Cooking” operations feature preprogrammed times.
