“I have a SHARP R-212AK installed in an 2004 RV Trailer using a SHARP RK-31K cabinet mount installation kit. Can the R309YK or any other SHARP microwave be used to replace my defective microwave, possibly using the existing installation kit?”

Yes. I am installing mine as a replacement for my 25 ft. travel trailer. I could not find one the identical size as the Samsung that quit, not even from Samsung so went with the best priced one and one closest to my original size as I could. Installation is easy except taking a lot of time to measure and line up brackets with the old screw holes in the cabinet, that was the hardest part, no room for mistakes. Measure twice and install once. The replacement microwave was 3/4" smaller in width than the original. If you get a little creative it is not that hard.
