• I put one in an RV where the original was. No big deal so far after 2 years. Just don't seal the opening so it can not vent.

• Hello, thank you so much for your question, Unfortunately, no, our Sharp Microwave Oven (Countertop) can't not be used in a cabinet, by reason for the model of microwave it's created to ventilate in an open space.
