I'm on the internet searching for the answer to this same question and found yours. Only the center clock area is illuminated on mine. I thought it was surely a defect, but maybe it is the design. If so, its a pretty bad design. The buttons are hard to see. I end up using my microwave with my cell phone flash light.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Actually can’t believe the control panel is not lit! This is a massive design flaw! I’m not opening my microwave to check the time…I need to access the controls! Very disappointed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I too agree. This is a very bad design flaw. Why on earth would you not backlight the control panel?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is crazy! I loved my Sharp drawer microwave that I've had since 2007. I moved and got another one. I'm shocked that the display panel rocks back and forth and is NOT LIT!! Big design flaw. They over improved the old model. It was better 20 years ago!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.None of the controls are backlit.. Just the time and timer area.. Big design flaw.. This makes it so incredibly difficult to see what you are pressing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello Kate, for all our drawer microwaves only the display panel is lit.
