If you have typical 12" deep wall cabinets, you will have no problem with door opening as this model protrudes out 3.5" past the cabinet face. If you have a giant handle on the left cabinet door, that could be a problem, but normal doors and handles would allow plenty of clearance.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No - as long as the cabinets only come out from the wall about one foot (which is standard). However, if you mount the microwave next to a refrigerator panel or other item that comes out from the wall more than about a foot, then the movement of the door may be restricted. At the very least, it will look strange and be harder to use without damaging the cabinetry. Also, the height of the cabinets matters. You need to have an 18" cabinet ABOVE the microwave and standard 30" cabinets next to it. If you download the installation manual, there is a helpful diagram that will show you what I mean.
