Q: QuestionCan this model be built-in a cabinet under the counter top?Building a kitchenette and want to hide Microwave below counter top in a 30'" wide by 24" deep cabinet. Will this unit work as a built-in?
Asked by Bob.
- A:Answer Unlike a microwave, a conventional oven will get hot on outside when used for baking and cooking. Besides there is an exhaust fan on the rear of the unit. I do not recommend mounted under a cabinet unless enough clearance ( about 2 in) can be accommodated (top and rear). It is imperative that the vents are not blocked and allow air flow on the rear of the unit.

Q: QuestionHow many watts and volts does this product take. Is a dedicated electrical line required? How many watts and volts does this product take. Is a dedicated electrical line required?
Asked by Bevie.
- A:Answer The wattage and voltage is not relevant. It matters however how many amperes (amps) are drawn with the unit turned on and baking. According to the manufacturer this unit uses about 900W, 110V and draws 13 amps. If tracing the wiring from where the unit is plugged in to the breaker box reveals a 20 Amps circuit breaker you should be fine (in theory). If power cord/prongs of the unit gets hot after in use or if the circuits breaker trips then the electrician needs to upgrade your breaker/wiring. Lastly, a dedicated electrical line should not be required if your breaker is 20 Amps or more.

Q: QuestionWhat are the benefits of a convection oven as apposed to the hazards of microwave cooking?
Asked by Glenn.
- A:Answer Hi Glenn. The Convection oven allows you to cook the food and the microwave just warms up the food. There isn't any hazards for either one. It is a combination of a regular convection oven with a microwave, so you have both hot air and microwaves cooking your food. So the advantage is you get the quick interior heating of the microwaves combined with the surface browning from the hot air; convection just makes that hot air cooking faster and more even.
